Lexington and Concord
The battle of Concord
One of the first battles in the Revolutionary War was The battle of Concord. It happened on April 19,1775. In this battle we were able to kill or wound 274 Red Coats. Only 25 soldiers were missing. I wonder what happened to them. Overall only 88 Americans were killed.
Lexington
Lexington was a small yet important battle. It happened on the same day as Concord because after Concord the Red Coats fled to Lexington. This may not have been the first battle had there not been the shot heard round the world. It started the war, but no one knows who shot it. Overall only 8 Americans were killed and 10 wounded.
