Cherrelyn Elementary School
August 24, 2018
Thank you for bringing your children in on Thursday and Friday for assessments. These reading tests give us valuable information about your child's reading skills and helps us target instruction to meet the unique needs of each Cherrelyn student.
School is a wonderful partnership between students, teachers, and parents. Please consider joining me as a partner in PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization). Our first meeting will be on SEPTEMBER 17, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. PTSO helps us raise funds for school events and field trips, plans activities like the Carnival, and supports all the work in our classrooms. For more information, please attend our first meeting!
I hope everyone enjoys the weekend. We can't wait to see you again on Monday!
Thank you,
Mrs. Orsund

CHAMPIONS
Champions is hosting a Fall Open House at Cherrelyn, where all Cherrelyn families will have the opportunity to visit our program and experience what afterschool at Champions is all about Our program will be open to all families on September 18 from 5:00-6:30PM.
This is a chance for us to positively impact more of your students by introducing even more families to our programs and showing them how we help build skills and confidence in young lives.
We look forward to meeting all of the Cherrelyn Families and hope to see lots of new faces in there to see what we have to offer.
Thank you!
