ATTN: SENIORS!!
SENIOR SURVEY IS LIVE IN SCHOOLINKS!
We are happy to announce that the Senior Survey, also known as the Senior Year End Activity, is now accessible on SchooLinks. It's an essential task for all 12th-grade students and should be completed within the SchooLinks platform no later than May 10, 2024.
After logging in to SchooLinks, you can find the Senior Year End Activity on your student dashboard in the "To Dos" section. If you need assistance finding or completing the Senior Survey, you can find various resources to assist you below. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mrs. Wales in the College and Career Center, casey.wales@lcps.org.

GMU Admissions Information Virtual Session...................Wednesday, April 17th @ 6:00pm
This virtual event will feature George Mason University Assistant Director of Admissions, Kelly Cardew, and is targeted to current 11th grade students and families who are specifically interested in George Mason University as a potential college to include for application consideration.

SCHOLARSHIP OF THE WEEK
2024 Granville P. Meade Scholarship
The Granville P. Meade Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who have achieved academically, but who are financially unable to attend college. The Granville P. Meade fund provides scholarship awards to worthy and financially disadvantaged Virginia high school seniors to attend one of Virginia's public or private colleges or universities.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- A current senior;
- Planning to attend a postsecondary institution in Virginia (university, community college, or technical school); and
- Currently attending a public, private or homeschool in Virginia; however, they do not need to be a U.S. citizen to apply.
Strong applicants:
- Are academically successful. While there is no minimum GPA requirement; this scholarship is competitive in nature and, typically, recipients are those that have an above average academic record; and
- Have experienced significant financial hardships.
April 8th is the deadline for all students to submit applications to Mrs. Wales in the College and Career Center. Please download the application below or visit their website here for more information.
