Some examples of their food are rice, soup with fufu, boiled yam with rice bread, Garitoto (eggs and onions), dried shrimp, tomatoes, agusti, jollot rice, redred, kenrey, fish, and snito.
Origins
The Ghana kingdom has no founder from what we know right now. The federation of Soninke kill the nomadic raiders who who were suffering form drought.
Trading
The people of ancient Ghana where the first culture to trade. They also taxed traders for more currency. They mainly traded gold and salt. Arabs actually risked trading with them to get resources.
Technology
The Ghana empire was one of the most advanced empires of its time. The reason is because after many years of rural lives, the people of Ghana were introduced to iron workings. This technology made them achieve many things. It would have been hard to or even impossible to achieve these things.
Homes
The ancient Ghana people lived in village houses that were made of sun dried mud, acacia wood, and/or stone. There was a hot climate so the houses were made to hold storage and for sleeping only at night. All daily activities were done outside because of this.
