The Registers
In computer architecture, a processor register is a small amount of storage available as part of a digital processor, such as a CPU. Such registers are (addressed by mechanisms other than main memory and can be accessed faster.
Control Unit
Short for control unit, it is a typical component of the CPU that implements the microprocessor instruction set. It extracts instructions from memory and decodes and executes them.
