Introduction
Have you ever wondered how to make video games or who makes them? Well in this article you will learn about a lot of things on how to become a coder including famous coders, day to day life of a coder and what colleges are good for coding. First you need to have some skills on a computer and you need to be able to type and deal with stress. What colleges to look into
What colleges to look into
in the next three paragraphs I will show you three best colleges for coding
MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY: CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS
“MIT is a school that is world renowned for its first class education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. MIT has one of the most highly regarded computer science programs in the world. The school has research centers that lead cutting edge research in such areas of computer science as aerospace computational design, artificial intelligence, computational biology, and computer science education. these are just a few examples of the numerous computer science research projects of which MIT students and faculty can be a part”.
CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY: PASADENA, CALIFORNIA
“The California Institute of Technology is on the forefront of computer science education and research. The school boasts not only one of the top computer science programs in the world, but also the second highest 30 year average net ROI among all schools in the United States, second only to Harvey Mudd College. An example of the high level research conducted at Cal Tech is the work of the Molecular Programming Project a research initiative focused on understanding the working of information bearing molecules like RNA and DNA, developing new means by which to program molecules with the goal of creating complex artificial bio molecular programs.”
STANFORD UNIVERSITY: STANFORD, CALIFORNIA
COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
“Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley it will come as no surprise that Stanford is the top ranked computer science school in the world. Located in the midst of the epicenter of the modern technological revolution, Stanford has enjoyed relationships with most of the major tech companies. Some of the companies founded by Stanford alumni include Google, Yahoo!, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun Micro systems. These are just some the major players in computer science; the state of California alone is home to over 18,000 firms founded by Stanford alumni.”
Day to Day Life of a coder
As a coder your day to day life can be difficult. You could have a work problem and other things might happen. On the web i found these words "Whether you are a Chief Hacking Officer, Code Magician, Engineering Ninja or Software Craftsman your day may look a little or a lot like the one below. It could be that you swap the Red Bull for coffee or other caffeinated drinks or maybe you ride a scooter to work – but one thing for sure is a good portion of your day is spent coding. And it may be that you are coding in Angular, JavaScript or any other frontend language or perhaps in Node.js or PHP on the back end."
So if you have seen the picture below and read the words above you know the schedule
of a coder. According to Sean Mullins “most days we will talk about how to use google”.Pros in the field
Professionals in the Field
One pro in the field is Bill Gates. I went on google info and i found this info.“Bill Gates did not graduate from Harvard; instead, he left Harvard during his junior year to start the company that has made him so famous and the richest person in the world.” Also Sean Mullins said he met Bill’s wife
Also another pro is Donald Knuth which I got info on for this article “Donald Ervin Knuth is an American computer scientist, mathematician, and professor emeritus at Stanford University. He is the author of the multi-volume work "The Art of Programming”.
Conclusion
I hope you enjoyed this article. Thank you for reading
and i hope you become successful in your career
as a programmer.
