Picture Day Tomorrow!
Pictures will be taken tomorrow during students' PE classes. If your student does not have a PE period, please ask your student to drop by the Auxiliary Gym at some time during the day to have a picture taken. Seniors that missed their picture date in the summer should plan to take a picture tomorrow. All students will be given a "proof" of the photo that will be delivered to the classroom and brought home to determine if they would like to purchase the pictures. It will take a few weeks to get the proofs.
Student's were given a temporary ID today. Students who do not have a picture taken will not get their new ID. It is important that they take this picture. Please call if you have any questions.

A-/Pass Option for Students Taking an Overload
The A-/Pass Option is available for any student who is concerned that even an excellent grade in the overloaded class will negatively impact his/her GPA. Students who take Honors, AP, and/or Dual Credit courses have the opportunity to earn over a 4.0 GPA. The A-/Pass Option means that if the student earns an A or A-, the student will receive a grade of P on their report card and the A or A- will NOT be calculated in the GPA. If the student earns a B+ or below, the letter grade and GPA will be calculated.
The following rules apply to A-/Pass Options
1. The student must be taking more than 33 credit hours
2. This option only applies to courses in Art, Business, Family & Consumer Sciences, Industrial Tech, and Music
3. Students may sign up for only one course per semester
The deadline to sign up for A-/Pass is the 15th day of the semester. For first semester the deadline is: Friday, September 3rd.
A-/Pass forms should be picked up and turned in at the Counseling Office. Forms can also be found on the Student Services Canvas page under "Forms".
