Last Day of School Classroom Party Pre-registration open now through May 23!
Parties will be held on the last day of school: Thursday, May 25
5th Grade Class Awards begin at 9:45 a.m.
KG - 4th Grade Class Awards begin at 10:00 a.m.
5th Grade Clap Out begins at 10:30 a.m.
All Class Parties begin at 10:45 a.m.
Parties are intended for students, and parents/grandparents are invited to join us as guests. All guests are required to wear VSoft stickers when they visit Keith Elementary. VSoft nametags can be printed from a valid driver’s license from any state, a military I.D., or state I.D. Please note that school-age students/siblings may not attend parties.
For the safety of our students and in order to accommodate the large number of visitors that attend Last Day of School parties at Keith, we are requesting that everyone pre-register. Visitors who have not pre-registered will need to wait in very long, time-consuming lines due to the Vsoft system. No exceptions will be made.
- If you have previously visited Keith and had your license scanned, you may fill out the RSVP form and return it to the school by Tuesday, May 23. We will print your Vsoft sticker before you arrive, which you will pick up in the Cafeteria when you arrive the morning of the party. If you (or someone you are pre-registering) have not had your driver’s license scanned at a previous event, you may stop in any time during normal school hours before May 23rd and have your driver’s license scanned. Please complete the RSVP form and bring it with you.
- If you do not pre-register and ensure that your license has been scanned, you will be required to have your license scanned on party day. The system is often slow, and the line may take a while, causing you to miss part or all of the activities. All visitors should be prepared to present a photo ID, even if they have pre-registered.
Please note: Parents/guardians who have pre-registered and will be checking their student(s) out after the party may sign out with the homeroom teacher.
Guests, other than parents/guardians, who intend to check out student(s) MUST report to the front office for sign out. **Parents: if someone other than a parent/guardian will be signing out your child, you MUST provide a written note to Keith Elementary prior to 9:30 a.m. on party day.** No exceptions will be made.
Please complete and return the RSVP form to your child’s homeroom teacher by Tuesday, May 23rd. (Complete 1 form per student). No pre-registrations will be taken after 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 23rd.
Thank you, and we look forward to celebrating with all of our amazing Keith families!
Important Messages from Nurse Moodt
As the end of the year approaches, we would like to remind you to pick up any medications you provided to the school clinic this year. According to CFISD Board policy FFAC (local), medications must be retrieved from the clinic by a parent/guardian or designated responsible adult. Please make arrangements to pick-up your student’s medications by May 25th no later than 4:00 pm. Medications not collected by this deadline will be disposed of according to CFISD policy.
If you are the parent of a 5th grader who has received TdaP, meningitis or varicella vaccines after age 11 and would like to have their immunizations updated, please send a copy of your immunization record. These immunizations are due in 7th grade. If you are unsure about whether these vaccines are on your child’s record, send a copy, and I will check and update as needed.

ALL Parents Need to Update Info with CFISD in School Messenger
Please watch the one minute video explaining the registration process:
SchoolMessenger Video. Download the district app or schoolmessenger.com/start.
In an effort to meet compliance, as well as to make it easier for parents/guardians to maintain their own information, changes have been made to the SchoolMessenger sign up process that will go live on Aug. 17. Enhancements include:
- easier for parents/guardians to create and manage their account;
- accounts can be created with just an email address, if it is in eSchoolPLUS or was previously in SchoolMessenger;
- gives parents/guardians the option to have multiple accounts, eliminating custodial account issues;
- TCPA compliance met, as parents will give consent to call when they access the new system;
- easy access through the CFISD app.
Information already in eSchoolPLUS and SchoolMessenger Contact Manger will transfer, but parents/guardians will need to select how they want to be notified. All parents/guardians should set up a new account even if they previously had an account. Instructions, links, FAQ’s and the video for parents/guardians will be posted to the district website and app tomorrow.
