MSIFN serves a critical role in supporting local schools and districts in providing positive outcomes and opportunities for all students and families. MSIFN helps bring the talents, expertise, and perspectives of school improvement facilitators from across the state working together to ascertain and promote best practices, sound processes, and strengthen systems to improve teaching and learning across the state. Our partnership with MDE, as well as other educational organizations, is essential to communicate and advance the MICIP process and other statewide initiatives transmitting policy into practice for local/regional stakeholders. MSIFN is a strong network that works consistently to build capacity for those supporting continuous improvement; positively influence decisions that impact students, teachers, and leaders: and improve the quality of services and supports for local schools and districts.

Secretary
Jennifer Parker
I would appreciate having the support of my colleagues for the position of Secretary.
MSIFN is one of the best parts of my school year – and I look forward to the networking, technical updates, and new learning that occur at our meetings. Our voices are critical to conversations going on at the State level about systems, platforms, and improvement. I value my colleagues input into the changing landscape of MICIP and MISchoolData redesign - where I constantly encourage the inclusion of MSIFN members in the conversation. I enjoy taking notes, creating opportunities for sharing in our online environment, and facilitating learning by moving to technology embedded practices.

As a statewide organization, the role MSIFN is to build the competence and confidence of school improvement facilitators, both individually and collectively, in leading and facilitating the continuous improvement process to improve services to districts and outcomes for all students.
