Detailed Re-opening and Readiness Plans
The administration has been diligently working on Bishop Reicher's detailed re-opening and readiness plans for the start of school. These detailed plans will show how students are going to enter the building, how their temperatures are going to be checked, how social distancing will be practiced, what to do if your child or a family member has been exposed to COVID, etc. A pdf of the plans will be emailed to you and will be available on our website.
REMINDER - Sign Up for In-Person or Distance Learning by August 7
Each Bishop Reicher family is required to sign up by their child(ren) for either in-person learning or distance learning for the first nine weeks of school by Friday, August 7. If you have not already done so please click on the link below and fill out our online agreement form for each of your children.

The administration will evaluate the COVID situation in McLennan County quarterly to determine if distance learning will continue to be an option for our school.

Uniforms
Picture boards of our new uniform styles are available on our website at:

Get Noticed Solutions is the main supplier of our school uniforms. You need to make an appointment, if you have not already done so, with Get Noticed before you go to their store to purchase uniforms.

Prek-3 through 5th-grade students do not dress down for PE. Therefore, students in these grades are not required to purchase PE uniforms or gym bags.
Families will have two years to transition to our new school uniforms. During this two-year period, if students have old school style uniforms that still fit, they may wear them to school. Parents may purchase old uniforms from our used uniform closet until August 19. After August 19, you will need to purchase new style uniforms. If you would like to purchase uniforms from our used uniform closet, please call our Administrative Assistant for the Lower Campus, Letty Martinez, at 254.754.2041 to schedule an appointment to visit the used uniform closet.

School Supplies
Our school supply lists for PreK-8th grade are available on our website at:
www.bishopreicher.com/2020-21-school-supply-lists
The Parents Association helps with setting up a convenient way for parents to order school supplies and have them bundled for pick up or home delivery. This year the Parents Association is using Target's School List Assist Program to help parents with purchasing school supplies. Parents are not required to use this service and can purchase supplies on their own using whatever means they choose.
If interested in using Target's School List Assist Progam follow these instructions:
- Click Target's School List Assist Program
- Click "Find a List"
- Then, type zip code 76708 or search by name - St. Louis Catholic School (Target has not yet updated the name)
- You'll then click "Pick Up At Store" OR "Deliver to Home"
- On the next screen, choose your grade (choose grades one at a time for each if you have multi-students)
- Your list will then populate in the cart and you will have a chance to edit it so you can remove items you've already purchased or want to purchase later
- For items unavailable or listed separately on the School Supply List, you will have a chance to add them to your cart, if needed.
If you have any questions or comments, please email billrebtucker@gmail.com.
If hand sanitizers and/or Clorox wipes are listed on your child's school supply list, all that we ask is that you try your best to purchase these items. We certainly understand that it, more than likely, will be difficult for you to purchase these items this year.
Meet the Teacher and School Supply Drop Off Day
We are working on details for a day(s) (Monday, August 17, and Tuesday, August 18) where parents and students can come to the school to drop off school supplies and meet their teacher. Welcoming the children back to school is such a wonderful experience for our teachers, and it is extremely joyful for our students and parents to get to meet their teacher before the start of school.
We, hopefully, will have these details worked out by the end of the week so we can get the details for this event emailed to you as soon as possible. That being said, please put August 17 and August 18 on your calendar.
