Students will determine their individual personality style and be able to identify their top 5 skills and interests
Extending the Learning at Home: Talk with your student about the different personalities present in your workplace. Explain how these personalities can sometimes create conflict.
7th & 8th Grade
Students will learn about the connection between careers of interest and necessary education or training needed to gain skills for that career.
Extending the Learning at Home: Explore the education requirements for your student's career of interest. You can search this within Xello. Then explore different postsecondary education options on BigFuture that might be a good fit.

The demand for computer network support specialists is expected to grow by 5.3% by 2024 in Lancaster County. This career requires an Associates degree with an entry salary of $42,250 and a median salary of $54,680 in Lancaster County.
Local Postsecondary Training Option
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology offers an associates degree program in computer networking. A larger percentage of SDoL students take advantage of the Stevens Grant and pay little to no tuition to attend.
