Things to Know
Returning Materials:
Chromebooks - avoid a $300 charge for a missing Chromebook. If your student brought one home, please return it tomorrow along with the charger and case to avoid any charges. All Chromebooks in our building will be inventoried on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Library Books: Please help your student locate and return any library books from our Media Center. These should also be returned tomorrow morning.
Last Day for Students: June 7th. This is a 2-hour early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 1:30.
In the morning, we will have our traditional Flag-Lowering Ceremony, move-up day where students will meet next year's grade level teachers, as well as the 5th Grade Clap-out where our entire school community will give a warm send-off to our 5th graders.
If your student would like to participate in our last Spirit Day of the year, please have them wear our school colors, red, white, and/or blue.
Report Cards: Students will bring home their final report card of the year on Tuesday.
Summer Hours: Beginning next week, the school office will be open from 7:00am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Schools are closed on Fridays during most of the summer.
Summer Food Program @ Whittier: We will be offering free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years old and under in our cafeteria.
We will serve breakfast from 8:30 – 9:00, and lunch from 12:00 – 12:30, Monday thru Thursday. All meals must be consumed on site.

The Year Ahead: As we continue planning for the year to come, we will communicate important information to all of our families during the summer. The next communication will be sent to you in the beginning of July. This will include information for incoming kindergarten and pre-k students, as well as Open House and Back to School Night information. Teacher assignments for next year for returning students will be sent to families in the first week of August.
