Updates
For the remainder of the year, Literacy will be split into 2 parts--Literacy and Famous Person. This is the time we'll work on our papers and projects for our final presentations. While most work will be done at school, please feel free to assist in any areas your child may need additional help. Their first deadline is Monday, April 10th. On this date I will be checking that the majority of notes are done so we can move on to the writing phase of the project.
Social Studies
The kids had the chance to do a STEM activity in which they had to construct a parachute in order to get Jack (of Jack and the Beanstalk) home safely. The kids had complete creative freedom and did a great job. Pictures are in our Homeroom app--take a look!
The kids are also working hard on a Craft Video regarding the events leading up to the Civil War.
Math
We are starting Topic 9, which focuses on dividing fractions. This is a relatively short topic so there will be a test in the near future.
