The job of an Information security analyst is to protect websites from being hacked. They create fire walls and safeguard files. The current 75,000 people who work for 79,680 dollars a year are information security analysts. If you want to be a information security analyst you have to have major analytical skills, and have to know computers inside out. They also have to be very detail oriented in order to find ay irregularities in a website. Being a problem solver is also very important to this job because you need to find tiny viruses in a sea of websites. They are kind of like the police of the internet, they find the problem and bust the hackers. In order to obtain these qualities most people have to get a bachelors degree in Computers, Engineering, and Communications. People who might like this job are people who like solving problems and computers.
