Believe, Achieve, Succeed!
March 24, 2024 Volume IV
“The Best in the U.S.A”
We had another busy and impactful week last week. One of the highlights was a Lyceum presentation by two of our 11th Grade Brothers about the importance of Professionalism in our school and in the workplace. I am looking forward to more student - led presentations to finish off the year. We have two 4 day weeks coming up. We do not have classes this Friday March 29th, and next Monday, April 1st.
We will have a Device Audit tomorrow. Please make sure your son brings his fully charged laptop and charger.
We have a Coffee with the Principal Meeting on March 26th at 10:00 am. We will discuss the Parent Advisory Committee, and the Campus Needs Assessment. We also have our STEM Night on April 4th at 5:30 pm. Please join us for both events!
These last weeks of school are also very busy. The days can sometimes become stressful for the students, parents, and the staff. I know that everyone handles stress differently, but please be patient, stay focused on our mission, and take things one day at a time.
Let’s make it a great week at BOMLA!

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
This year's theme is "What is your Impact?"
These are the instructions to see the status of your son's bus.
Here are the bus routes for BOMLA.
Please register for Parent Portal. You can access your son's schedule, grades and attendance.
We will use our "Men of Purpose" book as a guide for the character development lessons during Lyceum. We will engage the Brothers with the following discussion questions to help them identify their purpose over the next few weeks.
1. How do you want people to remember you?
2. What would someone say about your life right now?
3. How have you made a difference in the lives of others?
Mondays will be for presentations. Tuesdays will be when we present the discussion and presentation topics for the following week. Wednesdays are when the Brothers get into their mentoring groups to discuss and prepare their presentations for the upcoming Monday. Please ask your son to share their thoughts with you at home.
We are working to make our dismissal even safer. We do not want any Brothers crossing the street to get to their parent's cars. It is difficult to see the cars, and it is difficult for the cars to see the Brothers trying to cross. Please continue to follow the dismissal procedures as we continue to improve the dismissal process.
Thank you for sending your son to school in his full uniform Monday through Thursday. The Brothers can wear their jeans with a House Shirt, BOMLA Spirit Shirt or a College Shirt. If you have questions about the expectations, please contact the school at 972-749-2100.
For safety reasons, please follow the Arrival and Dismissal Procedures. We are now asking the parents to only pick up their sons on the South side of Stag Rd . so their sons will not have to cross the street.
Please bring your son to school every day. When they are not able to attend, please bring the documentation to excuse the absence. Students must attend at least 90% of their classes in order to receive credit for the course.
