Advent Week 1
During the Advent season, we will come together to pray as a school each Monday. This week we focused on Advent being a time of waiting and preparing for the birth of Jesus, who came to show us God the Father’s love. We wait for him to be born again in our hearts, our classrooms, our homes, our churches, and in the whole world.
Three Weeks of Giving
The Giving Season-We will be planning a different donation/giving theme for the first three weeks of December.
Week 1-we will be collecting items for St. Vincent DePaul
Week 2-we will be collecting items for the Neenah Animal Shelter
Week 3-we will be collecting Christmas letters/cards written by the children and families.

PTO News
December PTO Meeting: Please join us on Friday, December 2nd at 8:15 at Globe Coffee for our PTO Meeting. We have a lot of great events to discuss! See attached agenda for details.
Teacher Christmas Gifts: To hopefully make your holidays a little less stressful, we are again providing you an option to give our teachers the gift of SCRIP this holiday season. This convenient and completely optional opportunity is designed to bless our teachers without adding stress to you. If you would like to participate, simply fill out the attached document with the amount you would like to give to your selected teacher(s) and turn it into the office, along with your payment. Teachers will then be able to select the scrip/gift cards of their choosing. In order to get teachers their SCRIP cards by Christmas, please have all forms/donations into the office by December 7th.
Sweetness of Christmas: Our annual Sweetness of Christmas celebration for Kindergarten-5th grade will be December 14th from 1:00-3:00 in the afternoon. Students will create a special homemade gift in their classrooms and then move to the gym for Christmas games and activities. We need volunteers to help run this event, so please contact Jen Whaley at jennifer.ann.whaley@gmail.com if you are interested in helping. It is always a fun time and a favorite day for our kiddos!
Staff Cookie Trays: Attention Holiday Bakers!!! While you are preparing those holiday treats, please help us bless our teachers and staff as well. Volunteers will be assembling cookie trays for our amazing teacher and staff members on December 20th at 8:00am and we need 90+ dozen cookies/bars/treats to make it possible. Can you spare a couple dozen of your favorite treats for our teachers? Please sign up here if you can help! Donations can be dropped off starting Friday, December 16th.
