Students should wear white shirts with a collar, black skirt or pants and black (or dark) shoes. No heels please, as the students will be on risers. Students will be given a red bow tie at school to wear and return after the concert.
All band, orchestra and chorus students will sing in the Finale at the end of the concert.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. DeBiasse (band) ldebiasse@chatham-nj.org, Miss Graser (orchestra) kgraser@chatham-nj.org, or Mr. Bogert (chorus/finale song) jbogert@chatham-nj.org. Looking forward to seeing you at the concerts!
Last Day of School - No Clap Out
LAF celebrated their last Clap Out in 2016. We made this decision base on a variety of factors. In the lieu of the Clap Out, we host a 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony which we believe is a more memorable way to celebrate our 5th graders as they move to the middle school. Therefore, on the last day of school, our dismissal procedures will be the same as every other day.
Current 5th Grade News
We ask that the students wear a blue or white shirt or dress for the Moving Up Ceremony and no athletic attire. Sneakers are okay.
Please know this is a short group ceremony, not an individual photo-opt ceremony.
