A Wonderful Art Show!
Kudos to Mrs. Anderson, our art teacher, and our fabulous artists in grades PreK—6 for an inspirational Art Show last week. We had a tremendous turnout, and it was nice to see families enjoying and discussing the wide variety of art pieces throughout our school. Thank you to Mr. Squire, our science specialist, for bringing Turtle Swift and his students' terrapin projects to the art show. Students have been working hard to learn about and protect terrapin habitats. Our Project Grow students also displayed their many art pieces inspired by famous artists!
The evening presentation in the auditorium is for 18+, not all ages and ORRambassadORs will be in the gym for babysitting. We have updated the event on the website and website calendar. Please use this message below for your Smore. *Silas just change it grade 7&8 please! Attached is a jpeg and pdf of the flyer as well.
Grades 4, 5 & 6 Presentation to Students: Keynote speaker Katie Greer will be discussing social media and other technology platforms with students to help them understand the permanency of their online actions, responsible posting and an understanding of how to make technology work for them, not against them. Ms. Greer will present to Grades 4, 5 and 6 on Monday during the school day. See below for information on the evening event for families as well!
