Good afternoon KES families!
Happy Thursday! Hoping that this message finds you well! We have been finalizing our schedule for the End-of-the Year! Specific grade level dates are listed below.
For specific details on the June 10th-12th dates, please review the following link:
To adhere to the Governor's guidelines and safe health guidelines, we have set time-frames for respective teachers, and by grade levels. Please ensure that you review the schedule so that you know when to stop by KES! This will be your opportunity to drop-off textbooks, media books as well as pick up any other student personal items that were left in our student desks and lockers.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at KES, if any of the time-frames do not work. We are happy to accommodate our families!

JUNE 1ST - 5TH SCHOOL SPIRIT WEEK
TUESDAY, June 2nd -“Who is that Masked Kid”? Day -Design your own face mask made out of paper and decorate it with clues about you. E-mail a picture of you wearing it and we will try to figure out “Who is that kid?” You might end up on the morning announcements!!
WEDNESDAY, June 3rd - Hero Day- Dress up as your favorite hero. It could be a super hero, a sports hero, or an everyday hero like a soldier, police officer, nurse, or someone who helps others!
THURSDAY, June 4th - Proud to be an American Day- Wear as much Red, White and Blue as you can!!
FRIDAY, June 5th - Traditionally, PTA provides a t-shirt to each student for Field Day. Design your own t-shirt or poster this year to commemorate this unique event. Take a picture each day and send it to mark.wilhelm@qacps.org
If your parents are a member of the PTA Facebook page, ask them to post it there too! You might end up on the morning announcements!!

Tele-Town Hall Meetings offered for parents
Maryland Retired School Personnel Association in conjunction with AARP MD and NRTA (National Retired Teachers Association) are hosting a series of five tele-town halls in May and June for parents of school aged children in Maryland. Parents will be able to call in to ask questions of a child/adolescent psychiatrist from Johns Hopkins and teachers from the Maryland retiree ranks related to teaching their children at home.
