Reflective practise
What are the stages of reflection?
Description - describing the situation that have been in, in detail
Feelings - What the person thought and felt during the situation he was in
Evaluation - Helping to encourage the person to talk about what happened, what things went well and what didn't
Conclusions - draw a conclusion of what happened
Action - Plan an action plan of what you could do differently next time to show off your improvements
What does this theory offer in relation to personal reflection?
This helps a person's reflection on a situation by helping them point out what went wrong and what went right in order for them to see the faults they made so they can improve for next time. it helps a person evaluate their actions. They can then make a plan of action that will help them react correctly for when they are put into the situation again.
