A Panel Discussion on Hybrid Learning: July 14th
Join us for an engaging discussion with a panel of secondary administrators from Bethlehem Area School District as they describe their successes and processes in implementing a first year math hybrid learning program.
Hybrid learning is a blended educational system that uses a model where students can rotate through small group direct instruction, independent learning with new digital tools, and collaborative learning stations. It combines proven teaching methods with technology to increase student engagement, create a personalized learning environment, and motivate children to learn. When implemented with fidelity, hybrid learning can improve student academic performance and develop digital age competencies in traditional K-12 institutions. Hybrid learning also enhances teacher effectiveness and improves school efficiency.
BASD has implemented a model that includes coaching, professional development, and fidelity checks in order to help ensure student success.
