2017-2018 Principals Announced
The District is pleased to announce the first personnel transitions taking place as we move forward with the long range facility plan.
Missy Mattingly has been named principal of Bridle Ridge Elementary School (K-5), also in fall 2017. Mattingly is currently the principal at Shull Elementary School. The Shull building will become Shull Early Learning Center in fall 2017 and will house the District's early childhood programs. Mattingly came to Ray-Pec in 2011 from the Drexel School District, where she had been the elementary school principal. She also had past experience as an instructional supervisor.
Randy Randolph will be the principal of Ray-Pec South Middle School, starting in the 2017-2018 school year. South Middle School will serve students in grades 6-8 in the building now known as the North High School. Randolph is currently the principal at Eagle Glen Intermediate School. He came to the District in 2011 from Joplin, where he had been an elementary school principal since 2003.
Robin Jones has been named principal of Eagle Glen Elementary School (K-5), also beginning in fall 2017. She is currently the principal at Bridle Ridge Intermediate School, a position she has held since fall 2014. Before coming to Ray-Pec, Jones was principal of Carthage Middle School from 2009 to 2014. Previously, she was the elementary school principal in Monett, Mo., and an assistant principal in the Lamar R-1 School District.
