Carbohydrates
The role of carbohydrates is to provide energy, as they are the body's main source of fuel, needed for physical activity, brain function and operation of the organs. Eating too many carbohydrates can lead to an increase in total calories, which can lead to obesity. Not eating enough carbohydrates can cause a lack of calories, or lead to an excessive intake of fats to make up for the calories not eaten as carbohydrates. Cancer risks are greatly increased with diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease and many other unhealthy conditions caused by the high-blood glucose and high-blood insulin levels. The only way to prevent diseases caused by insulin spikes and plunges is to eat a low-carbohydrate diet. Carbohydrates food sources are milk, popcorn, cookies, spaghetti, and soft drinks.

Vitamin B6 helps form red blood cells and maintain brain function. This vitamin also plays an important role in the proteins that are part of many chemical reactions in the body. Consuming too much Vitamin A from supplementation alone, or in combination with other antioxidants, has been associated with birth defects, lower bone density, and liver problem. You can get rickets caused by vitamin dificiency. The best way to prevent rickets is by eating a diet with a lot of vitamin D in it.
