Message from Principal Suchocki
Now that we have completed the first 9 weeks of our school year we are looking forward to meeting with our families during our upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 1. Please make every effort to attend those very important conferences in order to personally meet with your child's teacher to discuss their current progress and look at goal setting for their future growth.
As we push forward through the school year we collectively are working together as a learning community to meet the needs of all of our student's diverse learning abilities. We take great pride in working diligently to meet regularly to assess our students progress and make any necessary instructional adjustments and provide additional interventions. Ultimately the key to those improvements will be the importance for support of consistency with our student attendances and families involvement.
Finally, as we all know this school year our district at the elementary level has a "no homework" policy. If there was ever a time for our families to help us promote the critical understanding for nightly reading this would be it. PLEASE, I can't stress enough the connection with your child's academic growth with nightly reading. As a parent myself, my job is to support and model my expectations for my children
