Notes from Stonehedge Elementary

Message from Stonehedge Elementary School Principal
Thank you to the families who joined us for our various events this week. Our goal was to have students and families would feel confident & comfortable when coming to Stonehedge on the first day. Popsicles with the Principals had a tremendous turnout even torrential rain didn't keep you from popping in! We loved seeing those new Kindergarten faces on the bus tour. AND, Mrs. Ratcliff, Mrs. HP, Mrs. Sheehan and I had the pleasure of taking our new families on building tours during New Student Orientation. Check the pictures below!
Please have comfort in knowing we'll have a lot of staff members out front and in the halls the first few days to help students get to their rooms. There is no need to worry.
We can't wait to see you Wednesday, September 7th for our first day of classes.
Sincerely,
Amanda Simmons
Transportation Information
We strongly recommend all students ride the bus. You will be able to find out bus routes and times in ParentVUE. ALL Stonehedge students being dropped off and picked up will enter and exit from the Main Entrance (Exit #1) and all cars up must go through the front car loop. Notice this is a change from last year, we will not be unloading or loading cars from the side lot. We will only have one car transport entrance and exit location. If your student is not able to ride the bus and you will pick up your student at dismissal on a regular basis (more than twice a week), you will need a car tag. Please call the office at 315-487-4633 for car tags. If you are going to transport your child(ren), expect traffic delays at dismissal.
