DreamBox Learning for the Summer
Practice your math skills all summer long!
Online Mathematics Learning Program for Grades K-5
We are excited to announce that our district will continue to offer Dreambox Learning throughout the summer of 2020. We appreciate the dedication of the Dreambox team, our teachers as well as or math support team to value this tool and its use with students as a supplement to the at home daily math lessons this spring. Your child is encouraged to complete at least 5 lessons each week. See below for a calendar template your child can use to plan their lesson completion goals this summer.
What is Dreambox Learning and how does the program work? Why does my child need to work independently?
Dreambox Learning, a K-8 digital math program, adjusts lessons to your child's individual learning and progress. If children complete lessons with support from parents/learning guardians or siblings, they will likely feel frustrated when working independently in later lessons. If not working independently, lessons will become too difficult, and children may lose motivation (or give up) on this program intended to adapt to their individual learning needs.

How does my child access the program?
Families received an email with information on classroom and student codes to access Dreambox Learning in early April. Click here for login information as needed.
If you did not receive this email, are new to West Hartford Public Schools or have a question about getting student log-in access, please email West Hartford Public Schools IT Helpdesk@whps.org or 860-561-6636. Please note that Dreambox does not have student password information for security reasons.
