The Green Gem...Where Students and Staff are Treasured!
Please Keep Students with Symptoms of Illness at Home
We are doing our very best to keep students in school but we need the help of our families. We are finding that some students who come to school with symptoms of illness are then testing positive for COVID-19. This leads to having to identify close contacts who then must be quarantined, meaning more students are missing school.
PLEASE help us keep students safe and in school as much as possible. Keep your child at home if they have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or other illness or have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Resources for Quarantined Students
If your child needs to quarantine, students will bring home the CCPS issued device (iPad or laptop) and charger.
Assignments will be posted for your student in his/her Google classroom. If you are unable to get on Google classroom due to connectivity issues, please contact Greensboro Elementary School at 410-479-3885

Need Help?
If you need help with your assignment(s) on Google Classroom, please go to your Google classroom to find the Zoom links for after school tutoring.
After school tutoring will be available from Monday - Thursday from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
Guidelines:
Join the Zoom early so teachers will have enough time to help you.
If a teacher is with another student, they may message you to wait a few minutes, ask you to join at a later time or work with multiple students at a time.
If there is a day a teacher is unavailable, this sheet will say “Unavailable” and the date, next to the teacher’s name- log in the next day for help. Ex. “Unavailable Monday 9/27/21”
