Fire Station & Police K9 Visits
This week the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Station and Palm Beach Gardens Police K9 Division visited our kindergarten students.
A fun time was had by all!
Thank you to all of the families who came out to last weekend's Harvest Festival. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces having a blast on campus. I thought the rain might ruin our event, but I think our children thought it was the greatest part of the day. Our bounce houses turned into spectacular water slides.
To put on a festival of this magnitude takes so many PTO volunteers and financial supporters. We are so grateful to the 50 parents who worked the event to make sure every detail was covered. You are the backbone of our school! The PTO would like to thank our event sponsors who made this day possible:
Gabriela Pinto & Gardens Orthodontics
The Aitken Family
The Brodsky Family
The Leone Family
The Lipan Family
The Mandanici Family
The Reinhart Family
The Aman Family
The Delfin Family
The Gac Family
The Huggins Family
The Salazar Family
There are so many wonderful pictures that were taken by a member of our Franklin Family, Amine Campbell, with Emily & Me Photography. Amine is providing a gallery of all of her photos for you to browse and download at https://emilymephotography.pixieset.com/harvestfest/. To download, you will need to enter your email address and the pin code 1922.
We hope you had fun, and we can't wait to see you at our next PTO event. To get involved with PTO, including our event planning, please complete the following form: tinyurl.com/pto-perks. Our next PTO meeting will be held on 11/2/2021 at 6:30 PM in the school's cafeteria.

Instruction begins promptly at 7:45 AM for students in K-5 and 8:45 AM for students in grades 6-8. As a reminder breakfast will be provided 7:15 AM-7:40 AM for students in K-5 and 8:15 AM-8:40 AM for students in grades 6-8.

1) It’s not just about free food – which by the way, is free for everyone this school year
2) Title I status brings A LOT of services and resources to the schools; which we could not afford without the designation.
3) Our network infrastructure (internet equipment and download speeds) are discounted based upon our NSLP rates. Without the submissions, the costs to maintain and replace this equipment goes up and then the upgrades could be delayed to financial restrictions.
4) It enables us to hire additional instructional staff.
5) We get access to other grants and resources based upon our NSLP rate.
6) By completing the application, families can also qualify for the Pandemic EBT Card (P-EBT), which can help them buy groceries. (Up to $399 per student)
If you have any questions regarding the National School Lunch Program, please feel free to email a member of the administration.
If you already applied online for Free & Reduced Lunch Meal Benefits and have application status questions, please email lunch@franklin-academy.org
