A Message from the Principal
January 24, 2022
Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,
Thank you to all the parent volunteers that helped make our HFCS Open House a great success! Please tell your neighbors and friends about our great school; word of mouth is the best way to attract new families to the school.
Every January, Catholic school Pastors, Principals and Business Managers around the country review their school budgets and set tuition for the upcoming year, and HFCS has done the same. Last week, Father Hoa, Tracy Head, and I reviewed our school budget and set tuition for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Although, it is best practice to increase tuition approximately 3% each year, we are sensitive to the uncertainty that the multiple years of COVID have brought to our economy, and the fact that the current inflation rate is putting a burden on the cost of living. We all agreed that it would be in the best interest of our families not to raise the cost of tuition for next year, therefore our tuition will remain the same as it is right now. Please be aware that there are also tuition discounts available. See the tuition information below:
2022-2023 Tuition – Kindergarten through 8th grade
The per student tuition rate for Kindergarten through 8th grade students is $8,800 annually.
2022-2023 Tuition – Pre-Kindergarten
Curriculum Portion of the Day (8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) - $3,700 annually
Enrichment Program (12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) - $5 per hour, or portion thereof
Available Discounts
Parish Rate Discount
The parish rate discount is $700 and available only to Kindergarten through 8th grade students. Applying for the parish rate discount is part of the enrollment process.
To qualify for the parish rate discount a family must be Catholic and meet one of the following requirements:
1. Be a registered, active member of Holy Family Catholic Church. To be an active member of this faith community means to be a good steward of God’s gifts and to live out your Baptismal call through Time, Talent, and Treasure.
2. Be a registered, active member of another Catholic church in the Diocese of Fort Worth. The local pastor will use their sole discretion in defining active membership.
Multi-Child Discount
A multi-child discount is available to all students receiving the parish rate discount, as follows:
Number of Children Discount
1st Child $0
2nd Child $200
3rd Child and every child thereafter $300
The multi-child discount will be applied to the FACTS tuition account by the Business Office for all eligible students.
I appreciate all of our Holy Family Catholic School families; we are all blessed to belong to such a strong and loving community. Please let me know if you have any questions about tuition.
Thank you and God bless,
Ann Walters
Principal
