The Mestizo Arts Scholarship Cultural And Recreation Association (MASCARA) is a non-profit with the
mission to advance Mestizo cultural arts through events and education promotion. MASCARA will award educational grants on a yearly basis starting in the Spring 2024. For the Application click the attached flyer.

~Counselor's Corner~
Scheduling season is coming to an end! Counselors have met with all 9th, 10th, and 11th grader students to schedule them for their next year of classes. Please see your student's Academic Plan in Aeries (click on “Classes” and then “Academic Plan”) to see what they have scheduled.
Connecting with your counselor: Just a reminder that counselors are always out on campus during break and lunch and are available for appointments with your student. Please call, email, or come into the counseling office to schedule an appointment. We are here to help students with all things academic, college and career, and social emotional.
~Attendance~
Make Sure to Clear your Absences
Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 3/26/24. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 2/26/24 - 03/22/24. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes.
College & Military Visits
Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence.

2024 Physician and Nurse Mentorship Program
Must be 17 years or older by the start of the program
Highly motivated and interested in entering the medical field.
