Hard Drive (HDD)/SSD
Referring to as a hard disk drive , the hard drive is the computer's main storage device that permanently stores all data on the computer.
Optical Drive
Optical drives retrieve storage data on discs like CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. They hold much more information than portable media options such as the floppy disc.
Monitor
Video and graphic information is generated through the video card. The monitor is the hardware used to display this data.
CPU
The Central Processing Unit. The CPU is simply the brains of the computer. Most calculations take place there.
RAM
Motherboards
The motherboard is a circuit board that is the foundation of a compute. It gives power to the CPU, Ram and all other computer hardware components. It allows them to communicate with one another.
Inputs/Outputs
Inputs are data or signals inserted by the system. Outputs are the signals or data sent from it.
Touch Screens
A touch screen is a computer display screen which is sensitive to pressure. A user can interact with the computer by touching pictures or words on the screen. Examples of touch screens are the Ipod touch, Ipad and more.
Operating Systems
A low-level software supporting a computers basic functions, such as controlling peripherals and scheduling tasks.
