Fraud!
See right through it
What is fraud?
Fraud is the intentional deception that people use to gain an advantage over them. This can be especially easy when done electronically, such as through Email, texting, and online shopping (such as EBay).
Fraud can look like many things, and can take many forms. They can look like fake Emails that try to get your personal information. They may also be items on online auctions that are very cheap or just look too good to be true. You also may be paying for a kit or equipment for an "easy job at home."
How do I avoid it?
1. Do not reply to Emails that want your personal information, such as your address, social security number, and credit card numbers.
2. Do a background check on whom you are purchasing online goods from. Research their records, customer reviews, and reputation.
3. Try to avoid things that look way too good to be true, because chances are, they aren't.
You don't need to be cheated
It is fairly simple to avoid fraud. If you see it coming and take the necessary precautions to avoid it, it will never trouble you again.
