Fork Shoals Library Ledger
News for May 27-June 6, 2014
All library books are now overdue! Please return books to the library as soon as possible!
Summer Reading begins June 1st!
Read 500 pages from June 1st-August 22nd. As a school, Fork Shoals’ goal is to read 500,000 pages!
Students who reach the 500 page goal and turn in their reading logs will receive special rewards and will be recognized on a display outside the library. Prizes will be awarded to the top reader in each grade as well as the top faculty/staff reader!
In order to receive the reward for reading, you must list books as you complete them this summer. Use this reading log (or your own paper), and have your parent/guardian verify your reading by signing by each book. Parents must sign by each book completed.
Make sure you print clearly and total your pages at the end!

Summer reading/activities
Students will receive information about summer reading and summer activity sheets. The sheets will also be available on our website. These are both great ways to keep students working on learning activities over the summer. Students who return their activity logs and reading logs when school starts back in August will be rewarded. Our school library will be open every Wednesday from 9:00-noon. Come and check out books each week!
