FVE NEWS
APRIL 2024
DEAR FRONTIER VALLEY FAMILIES,
Dear Frontier Valley Families,
April is a great month to be a buffalo! We will be holding our annual spring fundraising event sponsored by our fabulous FVEA/PTO on Saturday, April 13th from 12:00-2:00. There will be many fun-filled activities for our students to participate in, such as the cake walk, face painting, Bingo, and of course our annual silent auction! The funds raised go directly to our wonderful school to offset costs of our consumable curriculum and teacher grants. We hope to see you at this event…Blaze the buffalo is sure to make an appearance!
Our school had 2 representatives at the annual Apple Awards this year. We want to congratulate Cindy Holguin, librarian and math interventionist for being honored this year! In addition, our certified representative, Alex Villareal was selected as one of three district finalists this year! This was great recognition for Frontier Valley at this district celebration. We are very proud of our staff!
Cheerfully,
Kiersten

The Buffalo Bingo Bash and Silent Auction!
We are so excited for our first bingo fundraiser and silent auction on April 13! We’ve had a tremendous amount of support from the community in donating items for baskets. The list of baskets to bid on is almost complete (we’ll add teacher experiences and vacations to this link soon) and stay tuned on our Facebook and Instagram pages as well. The auction is open … take a look!:
You can buy tickets for the event here. The cost is $10 per person and includes a bingo sheet. You also can pre-buy a meal that includes a hot dog, bag of chips and bottle of water for $5, and tickets are also for sale for the cakewalk and face-painting:

And we’ll hold a pep rally at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12, to generate buzz for this event. It will include appearances from Legend High students!
There are a few other ways to support this fundraiser to help make sure we hit our goal of $22,000. All proceeds will come directly back to Frontier Valley to support our school and students!
