Senior Checklist: Cap? Gown? Diploma Name?
By now, all graduating seniors should have ordered their caps and gowns, as seniors are required to wear a cap and gown in order to participate in graduation ceremonies. However, 12th graders can still place cap and gown orders directly with our vendor, Balfour by calling 570-696-5236.
Seniors and their parents should also take a few moments to ensure that the diploma name will be accurate. The full name currently listed in our Infitite Campus system (student/parent portal) is the one that will be printed onto each student's diploma. In the event that a student or parent would like to make a diploma name change, a written request signed by a parent or guardian must be submitted to the Senior House Office as soon as possible.
We look forward to celebrating with all of our CBS graduates in June!

CBS Scholars Share a Love of Learning at Science Fun Day
On March 15, over 30 CBS students will lead Science Fun Day at Titan Elementary. This is a day-long exploration of science fun and learning that CBS students have planned and coordinated, including a variety of experiments to engage elementary school students and teach them about the wonderful world of science. Experiments vary from grade level to grade level, expanding on the CB Science curriculum, as well as exploring other types of science such as forensics and food science. It’s a great day full of excitement, exploring, and learning science facilitated by CBS science students!

Coaches v. Cancer
CBS Athletics has a long tradition of outreach. CBS teams have raised funds and donated time benefiting community organizations such as SPCA, NOVA, Bucs County Housing, Colby Umbrell Foundations, CHOP, Operation Eternal Gratitude, Doyle Dash, Dig Pink, St. Mary's Manor, Warrington Earth Day, Doylestown Food Pantry, Goals Beyond the Net, and Warriors for Tim.
Adding to that tradition, on Friday, February 1, CBS hosted our fourth annual Coaches v. Cancer event. This family-friendly event features 4 basketball games against CB West. A $5 ticket entitled each attendee to sample the wares of local food vendors such as A Taste of Philly, Chickie’s & Pete’s, Darlene Schneider’s Catering, Dominick’s Pizza, Giuseppe’s Pizza & Family Restaurant, Go Bananas Frozen Yogurt, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Philly Pretzel Factory, Pina’s Pizza, Planet Smoothie, Soprano’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, Tomatoes, UNO Chicago Grill, Warrington Pastry Shop, and Wendy’s. Guests also purchased commemorative t-shirts and Honor Wall tags in memory or in honor of those who have suffered from cancer in the past.
We are proud to report that this exiciting annual event raised $2250 for the American Cancer Society. Great job, CB South!
