Integrity in Action 🤝
As we bid farewell to another fantastic school year, we reflect on the wonderful memories, achievements, and growth our students have experienced. It's been a journey filled with learning, laughter, and cherished friendships.
This month, our focus will be on the essential trait of integrity as part of our Capturing Kids' Hearts character development program. Integrity, the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles, is a value we hold dear at our school. We've seen our students demonstrate integrity in their actions, words, and interactions with others, showing true character and respect for themselves and their peers. We look forward to further exploring this concept.
As we approach the end of this school year, let's take a moment to recognize and applaud the integrity displayed by our young learners. Their commitment to doing what is right serves as an inspiration to us all

BMI Screening
Grades 2 & 4
As part of our ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of our students, we want to inform you about Act 201 of 2007, which mandates Body Mass Index (BMI) screening for school-aged children in grades 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
BMI screening helps monitor children's growth and identify potential health concerns early on. It is a simple measurement calculated using a child's height and weight.
However, we understand that some parents may have concerns about BMI screening. Therefore, we want to emphasize that participation is optional. If you wish to opt out of BMI screening for your child, please contact Nurse Sheila Gorton in writing at shelia.gorton@fayar.net.
Your child's health and privacy are our top priorities, and we respect your right to make informed decisions about their well-being.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding Act 201 or BMI screening, please don't hesitate to reach out to Nurse Shelia.
