Spending Deadline
April 5 Spending Deadline Means:
All new reimbursement requests and requisitions should be in SALTT by April 5, 2024.
Any receipts and invoices that have reimbursement requests already in SALTT must be submitted by April 5th.
If you will get the invoice or receipt AFTER April 5th, still put in the REQUEST before April 5th.
Any exceptions need prior approval from advisors.
Recurring yearly reimbursement requests that go through the end of the school year like internet statements and Power Homeschool invoices can be turned in each month in April, May, and June as long as the request is in SALTT before April 5th. Please submit the receipts as soon as possible when you receive them.
Clothing Drive
Frontier's Student Government is doing a clothing drive for The Clare House It is an emergency shelter for women with children and expectant mothers. Clare House provides services that address the needs of clients entering the program. They are currently in need of warm outerwear for all ages and diapers are always appreciated. You can bring your donations through next Friday, March 29th to our Eagle River or Anchorage Locations! Thank you!
Silent Auction
Frontier's Student Government is also raising funds for their statewide conference in Utqiagvik (Barrow) in April! They will be starting a silent auction with some fantastic items at the Anchorage office during AK STAR testing! Check out the attached flyer! Thanks for supporting the team!
AK STAR
Just a reminder that AK STAR testing (3rd - 10th Grade) starts next week! If you haven't signed your kiddos up yet, here is the link to the Signup!
Don't forget that there are practice tests that will help your kiddos navigate the tools and understand the assessment better. Here is the link to the practice tests!
Graduation Reminders
Frontier’s 2024 High School Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium, UAA campus. Graduates should plan to arrive at 5:00 pm for practice; the ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.
The deadline for ordering your cap and gown is April 1, 2024. You can order your cap and gown online at www.jostens.com. Important: keep copies of your order and know where you will be picking up your cap and gown. The maximum reimbursement for the cap and gown expense is $60.
As part of our graduation ceremony we have a multi-media presentation of our graduates. Please submit six digital pictures of the graduate that signify memorable events in his/her life. All pictures should be submitted to your advisor by April 1, 2024.
