CFA Face Mask Guidelines
Our leadership team, staff, and board have discussed the current statewide mask mandate. We are in agreement that it is our responsibility to honor the governor, which is pleasing to the Lord. Starting now, we are implementing the Governor's Executive Order on facemasks. There are some exemptions for places of worship, so here is what you can expect and how it will be applied at CFA:
- Please have a mask on when you enter the building and when you are in any of the common areas. This includes the lobby, fellowship hall, classrooms, and restrooms.
- When you enter or leave the sanctuary, please have your mask on.
- When you are at your seat, and there is a distance of at least six feet between you and those who are not members of your family, you are allowed to remove your mask.
- NOTE: You are welcome to keep it on at all times, but the order from the governor's office allows for the removal of masks in a worship service after you are seated and if you can maintain proper social distance.
- Those on the platform are given an exemption if they are more than 6 feet away from each other and the congregation. Individuals will not be wearing masks on the platform.
IN OUR CHILDREN'S AREAS:
- All children's workers will wear masks at all times.
- Preschool children will not need to wear a mask.
- Kids Dock children will wear a mask.
Masks will be available for any person who has forgotten to bring one. This will be our policy until the governing official removes or changes the face mask mandate. We will continue to provide updates as any changes occur.
Looking forward to seeing you all again on Sunday morning.
