On the TRAIL - for Mustang Families
Jan. 25-29 - listening sessions, Mustang Derby
We are MT - MUSTANG STRONG!
Making each day count
Mustang Family:
Writing this, I am just coming from a beautiful virtual celebration of life for our former MT colleague, Scott Hoyle. The stories shared were such a great reminder of how wonderful a person he was and how far-reaching his impact has been. His impact and memory will live on and we are here for each other in these difficult times.
In addition, while hearing the stories and reflecting on all of the difficulties being experienced by so many throughout these trying times, I find peace and positivity in knowing that there is hope on the horizon and our strength and courage to make each day count is what will make the difference in our lives and in the lives of others.
No matter our role, educator, family member, student or community member, it is important to strive to do our best and hope to create the impact that influences others to do their best as well. We are stronger together and we can create a better tomorrow by doing our best every day.
“Making each day count like it's your last day to fulfill your dreams, is unarguably the master key to a future full of great rewards.”
― Edmond Mbiaka
Let's keep being the best we can be for our Mustangs, ourselves and for each other.
If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to support you.
Stay safe and healthy and have a great week!

MT Equity Listening Sessions - this week
We are still inviting students and families to participate in their respective sessions.
Please see the flyers for registration below o take part in our MT Regional Equity Coalition Listening Sessions.
We hope you can join us!
Additional information:
MT Regional Coalition Equity Listening Sessions:
As you may recall in the weekly newsletter, we have been working to create listening sessions for our staff, students and parents/guardians related to our work with the MT Regional Equity Coalition.
What do we hope to gain from the upcoming virtual listening sessions:
In these sessions, we will be able to gather feedback and input from all stakeholders to specifically help our school and region meet the needs of our African American and Black students.
Facilitation of this work will be done in partnership with Innovation Bridge so that administrators can introduce the purpose but then step away to remove any potential concern about giving authentic feedback.
The facilitators will then share the feedback from all stakeholders with us to help us identify great successes, areas of growth (we have things in place but need to keep adjusting it), and potential areas for innovative thinking to help our students. The information will help us not only in our daily work at the site and region but also as we determine future LCAP goals to meet the needs of all of our students.
