School Adoption: Bang Elementary
Thank you to everyone who donated to our food drive. Our Bang Elementary families and Cy-Fair Helping Hands were very appreciative of your generosity!
After Thanksgiving Break we will have another opportunity to support those in need in our community. If you are interested in a way to continue to give back this holiday season, please consider donating to the children on our Angel Tree. A tree will be set up in the front vestibule of the school. Ornaments will be hung from the tree with information for a child’s wants or needs.
For example:
Boy
6 Years Old
Shirt Size 6-7
Simply take the ornament(s) you choose with you to shop. When you have the items from the ornament you selected, simply return them unwrapped and with the ornament from the Angel Tree taped to the items to the front office. This will help us make sure we get the correct items to the correct families.
Career Week Survey
We are preparing for Career Week and need your input! Career Week will be the week of May 8th-12th. We need YOU! Please complete the following survey for Career Week no later than Monday, November 28th so we can continue our planning. Thank you for your input!

November Counselor Lesson Recap
Counselors provide monthly lessons within student classrooms. Our November lesson was a continuation of our October lesson on identifying the size of the problem and an appropriate reaction size to match. This month we reviewed and practiced conflict resolution skills using Kelso’s Choices. We use the wheel below to help students remember options they have to solve small and medium problems.

We are excited to announce an opportunity to help us get equipped. We have compiled a Wish list on Amazon so you can be a part of helping us provide your children with an amazing physical education program. We look forward to anything you can donate from the list.
