Bartlett will be welcoming back summer high school internship opportunities starting May 2024! Internships are a great way to introduce Juneau's rising adults to health care options, provide hands-on learning opportunities, add value to clinical and non-clinical units by involving interns in tasks, and sharing their passion with the next generation of health care workers.
Our program is designed to excite and promote young adult learners to go into health care and supporting fields and ultimately, we hope they'll return to us here at Bartlett!
- Two, four-week sessions, 12-24 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Mentorship with real "day in the life" learning opportunities
- Optional hands-on skills lab session. Learn about specialized equipment and procedures.

SheJumps increases the participation of women and girls (transgender and cisgender) in outdoor activities through outdoor education. Partnering with nature, we create safe, educational outdoor experiences for people that nurture growth, & transformation.
Come experience nature through art with some phenomenal local female artists: Tanna Peters, Linda Pringle, Glo RamĂrez, and Christine Carpenter! Participants will rotate through a few stations of art based sensory experiences and reflective activities in nature with inspired art projects and lessons. Each station will be led by a local artist.
Participants need to come prepared to spend some time in nature regardless of weather, as well as for some time indoors. We recommend that participants bring various clothing layers for the day to stay comfortable, sunscreen & sun protection, as well as a water bottle.
Lunch and art supplies are included. Your child may bring their own lunch and snacks if needed to supplement our lunch, or if they have any dietary restrictions.
