Our Busy School
Focus and Attention
We are working hard to try to develop the skill of Focus and Attention at NHS. Our teachers are using collaborative skills and networking with students in hopes to increase academic successes with our students. We actively utilize our Connect period to work EXTRA with your children and provide possible extensions to lessons in the classroom. Our Building Leadership Team have designed a student survey that we give weekly to analyze what teaching strategies the students think are most effective and what barriers they have to focused learning opportunities. We will utilize this data to create better designed instructional plans for our students.

Student Safety Advisory Council Updates!
2024-2025 Council Applications Now Available
Do you want to be a part of a group that amplifies student voices working towards making schools safer, both physically and emotionally?
Governor DeWine and the Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) created the Ohio Student Safety Advisory Council, which includes four representatives from each of Ohio’s four school safety zones.
Being a member of this statewide student council enables students to ensure their voice is heard when it comes to school safety. It will also enable them to learn more about the diversity of current school and students’ safety-related issues, develop government relations and leadership skills, and expose them to how government agencies work together from the federal, state, and local level.

Senior Citizen Preview
We will be holding a senior citizen preview on Thursday, April 18th at 8:30 AM for our school musical Into the Woods. Please check in at the office (with your driver's license) to watch the preview.
