Message from Mr. Lanier
Tiger Nation
It was last year at this time that Sam Bennett, an amateur golfer from Texas A&M, burst on the scene with some scintillating play at The Masters golf tournament. Sam's story included how he had overcome the death of his father a few year's earlier. Prior to his father's death he had told Sam something that stuck with him; so much so, that Sam had the statement tattooed on his arm. Sam's dad told him, "don't wait to do something." This sentiment is something that I hope all of our students and staff latch onto as we enter the final few weeks of the school year. Don't wait to say thank you to someone who helped you along the way. Don't wait to do something that impacts the school and the community in a positive way. Don't wait to start working on something that will make you a better person. Spring is a time of renewal and the message, 'don't wait to do something', fits right into the idea that we have a lot to look forward to with each and everyday.
Let's have a great week of learning.
Here we go!!
Tiger Up,
Mr. Lanier
