Understanding The Middle Level Learner...
Staff:
We are finally gaining some solid momentum as we head into the third week of school. This week, we should be firming up all classroom expectations. Communication with parents should be established either through Google Classroom, E-mail groups exported or Remind. It's vitally important that we all have created a conduit to keep parents and guardians "in the loop" so collectively we become a Learning Team. When we streamline and keep these platforms consistent, we become more transparent and more effective delivering our messages.
In addition to this type of communication, I'm super impressed with all of the teachers who have jumped on Twitter to tell our story. Multiple tweets are going out daily showcasing amazing ideas, methodologies and experiences happening within our classrooms - This is so amazing because YOU are telling our story and marketing our amazing process. For those who haven't quiet yet got involved, please consider joining in. There's nothing to fear when you showcase excellence in innovation and pedogogical practices; in fact, this is what the greatest schools are doing throughout the country. Have some fun with telling our story. I have heard so many great things from members in my own PLN (Professional Learning Network) about our school. You are making our mark and creating some swag at the same time. Keep up the great work and if you haven't got involved yet, please consider doing so... just be sure to add @cms_grizzlies & #CMSPride to your tweets.
Thanks again for such a great start to our year. We are just beginning to gain some traction. Stay together, plan together, building meaningful assessments together & most of all support each other. Wishing all of you an amazing week!
