Call for 24/25 School year PTO Board Members:
Co-Vice President (assist presidents with oversight of PTO activities, coordinating volunteers to help with programs), 1 additional needed
Co-Secretary (weekly newsletters, social media sites, meeting minutes, flier management)
Enrichment Coordinator (Scheduling enrichment activities a season ahead, Setting up and monitoring registration, Creating fliers as needed, Coordinating programs with Jenny Brown on days, times, location, instructor/volunteer CORI's, class roster ***This is a new position being created to help coordinate enrichment activities. The coordinator may enlist a committee or other volunteers to help.
Come join Shannon Wall and Alissa Ashley-High on the Spring Street School PTO. We are fully committed to having a fun and successful year ahead, but we cannot do it without your support! Directly influence the community at Spring Street School by joining the board. Worried about the time commitment? The more volunteers the more we can divide the work so we are aiming to have more co-board positions. Time commitment varies per month, but an average of "5" hours a month (months with larger activities like Fun Run, Family Dinner Dance, and Fun may require more). Fun Fair Volunteering and Planning
Fun Fair is May 18th!
Planning is underway for our Fun Fair being held on May 18th! Thank you for all of those who have signed up so far! We still have open spots and urgent needs to help with ticketing and the talent show! Unfortunately, if we don't get volunteers for the talent show, we will not be able to continue that tradition in the fun fair this year. Fun Fair Raffle Baskets
Save the date! Spring Street Fun Fair is coming May 18th from 12 - 4 pm.
An important activity at the fun fair is the raffle basket giveaway. In order to populate the raffle baskets, we need your help with providing donations to create the raffle baskets. In order to help with planning and to ensure we get a wide range of items, we ask each grade to provide donations related to a specific theme. Then what we collect gets arranged into the raffle baskets.
TO HELP: Please reference the flyer for the grades in which you have students. Donation collection is via Amazon wish list (see link/QR code on flyer) or in a box labeled "Raffle Baskets" in the school lobby. Please plan to have all donations to the School/PTO by Wednesday, April 10th.
