KIM SHARES AN IDEA ON HOW YOU MIGHT USE THE MARSHALL MEMO WITH YOUR FACULTY
I learned in a workshop I gave a couple of weeks ago that some Memo readers may not be taking advantage of a powerful use of certain articles: having a whole faculty silently read hard copies of the summary highlighting key points (takes only 5-10 minutes), then turning and talking with a few colleagues on points of agreement and disagreement and key quotes, and then hearing thoughts and action implications from the whole group. Certain articles lend themselves to this kind of discussion - for example, the Jennifer Gonzalez piece in last week's Memo and the Lauren Porosoff article leading off Memo 762. I'm compiling a list of articles like this, and am open to your suggestions.
