PK 4.3 - Weekly Newsletter
Dear parents,
It has been such a thrilling week here in PK 4.3!
We continued working on our Clothes Study and this week we moved our interest to the fabrics, fibers and wool. Students have shown some interest in the way clothes are made; we explored the kinds of fabric there are and where they come from. We also discussed the process that clothing goes through in order to be the one we wear every day.
On Wednesday International Day was a total success!! Throughout the week we talked about how people in every part of the world dresses, speaks and eats differently. Even though we are all different we have to be respectful and appreciate each culture. Speaking about culture! We had the opportunity to have a banquet with traditional foods from all the different places our friends come from. Furthermore, our whole class embarked on a trip to different countries. We visited United States, Venezuela, India, Argentina and Panama and had a real life experience with passports and everything!
It was so much fun sharing with all of you on this event. A special shout out and grateful message to our homeroom mom for all her help! We highly appreciate it <3
