Countdown To Success In 2017
Excellence Is No Accident
Therefore, there are some areas in which we are not operating from a spirit of excellence. Please note the following:
- Monitoring Achieve 3000, Reasoning Mind (2nd grade), Think Through Math and Stemscope.
- Celebrating Students Success through the Updating of Bulletin Boards (Attendance and Academics).
- Outward Celebrations that help motivate students across content areas
- Student Conferencing
- To many absences and tardys of students and teachers
- Two or more Grades should be inputed in Gradespeed every week.
- Outline on your IPC and Lesson plan the S.E. you are spiraling back in
Mission Possible: Achieve 3000!
A programs success is predicated on implementation being done to fidelity. To ensure we are closing the academic gap of reading, we must be intentional about insuring our students are completing ACHIEVE3000 at least twice a week for 45 minutes with a 75% accuracy rate.
Current Concern:
Students are not logging on the required time frame.
Students do not know Lexile levels.
Students are not extrinsically motivated to move the require the levels.
Students are not completing assignments.
Teachers are not monitoring student progress.
Teachers are not assigning student assignments based upon student progress.
Action Steps:
Conference with students to discuss
current Lexile
goal setting
assignments
Monitors progress toward mastery Check for Understanding ( TEI 2.2)
Pull small groups of students during Achieve 3000 as needed
Audits will be done randomly by student’s number weekly to monitor student progress.
