Principal's Corner
Because our December is so short this year, this newsletter will serve as our January newsletter as well. So, I want to encourage everybody to get very excited about an event that will begin January 15: The 2nd Annual Every Titan Reads. For those who were around last year at Park or Highland, you will remember this event. Your family will get to renew a friendship and fall in love with reading all over again. This is truly a family event. We ask parents to read one chapter a night with their children. We will do activities at school the next day about the chapter you read the night before. We will have 2 family nights for this event. See information below about the first event in January!

Eddie Eagle
The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® program is a gun accident prevention program that seeks to help parents, law enforcement, community groups and educators navigate a topic paramount to our children’s safety. Eddie and his Wing Team are on a mission to help teach Pre-K through 4th graders what to do if they ever come across a gun without an adult. Their four directions include stop, don't touch, run away, and tell a grown up. We will be sharing the Eddie Eagle program with our 2nd and 3rd graders in December.
