Fitness on My Phone
Physical Activities That Fit Me (by Abby V. Alex M. Alex W.)
Goal:
Scenario 1: 1 to 1
Coach's Eye: Teacher or partner videotapes the student and analyzes them doing one of the workouts to determine if they are doing it correctly.
For this scenario, every child would have a device and would run the app to display the workouts that they would do, and a partner would video them and review the video to see what improvements should be made to do the exercise properly.
Scenario 2: Bring Your Own Device
Coach's Eye: Teacher or partner videotapes the student and analyzes them doing one of the workouts to determine if they are doing it correctly.
For this scenario, if they do not have their own phone, then they would partner up with someone who has a phone or tablet so that at least one person per pair has a device. One partner would run the app and determine what the workout should be. They would then jot down the instructions and workouts that they need so that the device can then be used to video the exercise.
Scenario 3: Lowest Income
Coach's Eye: Teacher or partner videotapes the student and analyzes them doing one of the workouts to determine if they are doing it correctly.
The class will go to the computer lab and create their workout plan. They will then print out their plans and go to the gym, where they will do their exercises in groups where a member will video another member doing the workout. If no one in the group has a device, then the teacher/coach will use the teacher's device and video the students that need to see how they are doing the exercise, and how they need to improve.
